I’ve observed that if I want my infant daughter to hold my hand it’s best to reach my hand out and let her grab it. If I reach for her arm she’s more likely to pull it away.
Adults would do well to consider this same principle when dealing with each other.
I understand the importance of connection when educating a young person but I tend to underestimate the importance when developing a mutual relationship with other adults.
Gonna need to work on that.

Take your kid out of the wagon, the stroller, or the harness and try exploring the world at their pace. I doubt you’ll regret it.
