W. E. Deming

I am not a manager of people. But, I have been managed by others my entire life and none of them, that I can recall, followed the principles put forth by William Edwards Deming in Out of the Crisis.

I think his 14 points can be interpreted and applied to any organization, even a family unity.

At the heart of this framework lies a relentless pursuit of quality through a respectful approach to management.

Read my series on Deming’s 14 points to see how I interpret his work for the family. Visit the Deming Institute to pursue establishing a framework for your organization.
